Exploring the new homeware range in Primark
We popped into Primark at Tottenham Court Road and Westfield (White City) recently and there’s now such a wide selection of homeware so sharing the new items on the blog!
I popped in hoping to see the new furniture items but sadly there weren’t any but at least there were a lot of great homeware pieces.
When I was renting, I don’t think I ever went to the Primark Home section, or thought much about decorating the place. It was probably because I knew I wouldn’t be staying long. Now that we own our home and have been working from home for the past year and a half, I just really wanted to decorate it and make it feel like our cosy home!
I don’t really want to spend a fortune on homeware so we find ourselves regularly popping into Primark and I have to say, I have been really impressed by the range of homeware that they have!
Let’s start with the dinnerware and kitchen selection! They had what seemed like everything one would need, ranging from placemats to storage jars.
Serving board
I loved the design of this serving board. I think we just like items with a mix of wood and stone. I thought the price was quite reasonable at £14 and I would probably have bought it if we actually used serving boards!
Water jug
I thought this glass jug would look great in our home but we already have the IKEA 365+ Carafe with the cork stopper.
Bowls
I really liked the design of these blue and white bowls but sadly Hubby wasn’t a fan so we didn’t get them…yet! Just give it time… I’ll persuade him eventually.
Wall art
Large wall art is also now available and it’s so affordable at £6 - plus it even comes in a frame, like this one!
Artificial plants
For someone who struggles to keep plants alive, I prefer to buy artificial plants and wow, there’s such a large range now as you can see in my photos below.
It’s so great that a lot of them already come in plant pots! I spotted this rattan plant pot too for £12!
If you are a fan of rattan, there was this rattan hanging rack for only £7.
They now even have tall bamboo plants for £30! I personally preferred the one we have from George at Asda, the artificial Bamboo Plant in Black Pot 1.4m which was only £25. We have had lots of compliments on it when friends and family have been visiting!
Glass Storage Jars
I’ve been looking for glass storage jars for the bathroom for a while now and spotted these! They’re perfect for holding the cotton pads and buds. I actually prefer the jars without the lids as it looks more aesthetically pleasing. This is how I styled them in our bathroom!
Table Lamps
I saw table lamps for the first time, like this Goldtone Double Bulb Table Lamp which was £25. Not sure what happened to the other bulb though! I took the photo so you can see what it looks like, rather than just the box. Hope that's useful!
Lamp Shades
There were also lamp shades which I think is new!
Christmas Decorations
This isn’t new but I was excited to see that the Disney Mickey and Minnie baubles are back. It turns out it's really hard to take a nice photo of the set of 25 so click here to see the ones we bought in previous years on our Christmas tree (first and third photos). I can’t believe Christmas decorations are in store already! They have two colour schemes, red & black and pink & silver!
