A time for reflection during COVID-19: buying a home and helping others

The COVID-19 lockdown has given me time to pause and reflect, which led to the start of this blog!

As a first-time buyer, getting on the property ladder in London has been pretty difficult. It’s been over a year since we started looking for a flat and whilst we aren’t yet on the property ladder, we have gained some valuable experiences which I thought would be worth sharing on this blog.  I’ll keep posting about our learnings as we navigate through the UK property buying process. Please note, we are sharing our experiences as first time buyers and the information on the blog is not professional advice.

Given that this is likely to be the most expensive purchase that we will make, we have been doing a lot of research! There’s a lot of helpful information on the Internet on buying a property but it also means spending a lot of time searching and reading through many websites.

In the upcoming posts, I’ll put in links for the websites that I personally found most useful to make it easier for others. Of course, everyone’s situation is different but hopefully it will help you learn some new information about the flat buying process!
